Canadians have different minimum wage rates, depending on their province or territory. The minimum wage in Canada was increased in July 2019, with provinces such as Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, and Prince Edward Island having the highest minimum wage rate of $15 per hour. Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, and Saskatchewan all have minimum wage rates of $14 per hour.
